I CANT BELIEVE THAT YOU DONT GET POINTS FOR THE GOLD SILVER OR BRONZE MEDALS AT THE END OF A ROUND!!!!!
maybe if enough of agree then dice might do something about it in the next patch. let your thoughts be heard here ![]() |

I dont really care, I think its good enough to get points for badges and pins, unlike BF2 where they were just something to look at.
And oh yea, I think your caps lock button is broken. Get that checked out |

He does have a point. If you're getting points for simple, easy to earn badges and pins, then you should get points for earning a medal for being the best in the round.

EA is probably looking at it this way:
A badge or a ribbon would go on uniform for performance (over time) to team effort against the enemy. A gold, silver or bronze medal is for a singular performance against other players playing that particular match. Therefore they don't reward you extra points for a singular contest against whoever happens to be playing on that one map. |

Whatever happened to playing the game for the fun of it? Caslon's right about the singular performance thing, but why do we play games afterall, for points or for fun? All these medals and awards seem have confused players about their motives for playing the games...

a point now and then is great, but dont you buy the game to play it and have fun killing pepoles. isnt that enough. the joy of killing is bigger than the joy of a point.

whats the difference between an idiot and a jerk?
I'm gonna make a batch of popcorn and hang out here if this turns into a real barn burner. Forrest...how did you retrieve this nearly year old thread? A "search" or just going thru 1000+ post topics? I always wonder that about those who bring up ancient threads. |
