BF 2142 demo due out THIS WEEK!!
This server went down tonight and I am too lazy to repeat
all the facts and proof. Who was messing with the place last nite? Huh? Huh? Shame. I wanted to post this but wasn't able to. This FTP Directory features various language (and resolution) versions of a new Battlefield 2142 movie that offers a tutorial on the new Titan gameplay mode in DICE's coming military shooter. This was accompanied by a note saying this tutorial will come in handy for the release of the BF 2142 demo next week, adding that details on the demo release, which will just miss its planned September window (story), are forthcoming. Interesting, apparently weve been having issues with the server. I've already dispatched a note an am looking into the issue as well.
On the BF2142 demo though, the release date for Filespamit is the 4th, with a widespread open demo released on the 5th. Be prepared for the onslaught. Quote:

You can download the demo a day earlier than everyone else if you pre-ordered paid for BF2142.
Man..as a beta tester for BF2142, the beta test crashed every 5 minutes...then DICE produced another BF2142 beta and the new beta caused the Titan ship to explode by itself... This is going to be very interesting how DICE mananged to correct about 1000 bugs in less than 3 weeks. EA DUE DATE! GETR DONE! Last edited by Caslon : 10-03-2006 at 08:35 AM. |

Yeah you know when I posted that I didnt even realize that they mentioned the demo part and preorders. wow, i was in the zone for my geo exam i guess.

Everytime you call it "mod" you make me remember that it could actually be a mod for battlefield 2, and that I would feel like a dumbass buying something I could get for free if it wasn't EA distributing it
