Forgotten Hope 2 Release Date Announced

Yes, it has been a long and difficult road to this point. But we're extremely pleased to announce that:

Forgotten Hope 2.0 will be released on:
Friday 14th December, 2007 at 19:00GMT

The dedicated server files and passworded bittorrent will be released on Wednesday 12th December.

This is the first of a set of news updates we will be making in the coming week to help you learn about how to play Forgotten Hope 2.

We have tirelessly prepared two resources for you. First and foremost: McGibs with the vocal efforts of Major and the flawless animation skills of Killi Vanilli have prepared a course of training videos. We present the introduction to the series here.

Secondly we have compiled an online manual in the form of a wiki which contains all the information you will need to succeed on the Forgotten Hope 2 battlefield.

They are only about 3 months later than expected, but hey, it's finally here. Been missing the Panzers and real dogfights in the skies. Can't wait to play.

Yea i saw ya on that server the other day, sorry if i didnt respond, i dont usually watch the chat all that much. Its fun, just wish i could run bf2 better. The aircraft are definitely different, not sure if i like it yet though. Sad there are only afrikan campaign maps so far, would have been better if they were spread around all of the theatres. Not sure how they would do the pacific without the ships or if bf2 could handle ships. There are a few maps that i dont really like that much, one is just too open.

I still gotta play it some more before i can say whether it was worth the wait. Im still glad that its released but im not sure how much im gonna play it.

Hey Random, I saw the name but I didn't realize it was you. Ze Germans could not penetrate our lines while I was guarding the front. Then I went on the Bofors and took down some stukas. All good fun. I wish my computer was some what decent. The game loses some of its glory when you play on low settings. We should get together and get a game going. BFN squad unite!

I don't think Shizzle could handle the one-shot kill rifles

I play mostly on Deadmeat when I do get on. TG and OSF have been good servers as well. The tank battles have been tons of fun lately.

My video card almost forced me to reformat a few days ago, so I am having reset a lot of stuff on my system. My x1900xt seems to be the weakest piece in my whole system, crappy ATI tech I guess.

Is the point of this mod to make BF2 look identical to 1942? Caaaause....I tried it out for a day and thought it looked and played like shit. No disrespect for 1942, but fuck I was expecting sooooo much better for over 2 years of development
