Default 19" Widescreen LCD monitor

I just got a 19" Widescreen LCD and was wondering if BF2 will take advantage of it and show more or will it stretch things and make it look funny?

Anyone out there know or have any comments on the wide screens?

It wont.

You can either just strech it or do Vert-. Proper widescreen in Hor+.

What pisses me off is, that BF2 doesn't add to the sides, but takes from top and bottom.

I thought LCDs were 4:3 anyway?

Actually wait, if BF2 runs in 1280x1024 then it isn't 4:3. I cant remember if I have BF2 to 1280x960 or 1280x1024, i know my desktop is 1280x1024

LCDs can be whatever aspect ration you care to make them in.

4:3 5:4 and 16:10 are the most common. 1280x1024 is 5:4. Which BF2 supports.

I still can't believe that for 2142 DICE couldn't introduce something above 1600x1200.

Theres hardly any other games out there that don't support 1920x1200.
