the quest if you chooses to accept it is to find out how i can fix my voip i select it to be on and its on for like half a second and it turns off

The microphone button should always be on, it gets switched off more often than anyone ever realizes.

try actually holding down the voip button while talking.

no it not that i don't hold it down it thats it actully switchs off in the menu and won't work at all some times i can get it to work for about 1 minute then it turns off in the opitanis btw i am not that supid

This may be affected by a windows microphone feature as well. In one of the updates, Windows added a voice/speech "improvement" that messed mine up. The only way I fixed it was disabling it's connectivity to the rest of my features/menus. Though I don't think this is your same problem, as your mic will actually work sometimes, you might try looking into your sound/speech features in the windows control panel and seeing if you have any problems there.

Also, it may help if you could give us a step-by-step rundown on exact what happens, sometimes it's the little details, that don't appear important, are the cause of the problem.

well 1 i set it to be on the options menu in bf2 then i go join a game and then join a sqaud then i try to talk it sometimes work for like half a second then it just turns off

I FIXED IT THERE WAS A POST IN THE EA FORUMS THAT HELP TY
