Never ending car drops (Needs to be fixed for 1.4!)

This seems to be the most recent and most common hack/glitch/bug out there on alot of the servers. For those of you who haven't seen this one yet, basically what happens is the hacking commander picks an area to drop the vehicle and then instead of just one vehicle falling, about 45-50 vehicles fall at once, and don't stop falling for the entire round. They usually explode or squish people who are below.

It's funny to witness, but it also lags the server really bad and gets really annoying when you actually request a car to drive and can't get one. It is yet another reason to look forward to fixes in 1.4, if it gets in the patch. I think there is something on the EA forums about it, but I haven't seen anything about it here.

I've seen the exploit where jeeps are dropped on enemy on roofs and also
jeeps dropped right on artillary. Not a flood of them tho.

I believe mention was made of that being fixed in 1.4.

I've seen this too. I was playing Karkand on a server. On the high building at the square, a torrent of vehicles was falling out of the sky onto the building and falling off. Play did slow down as a result. This was not normal. I've seen (and been the unfortunate recipient) of a single vehicle or supply crate squashing a player, and this is not what that was.

Was this on a ranked or unranked server? I'm just curious.

For the two times it happened to me, the servers were ranked. One of them was actually the Warhaus/Deadmeat server; the admin caught the hacker and had to reboot the server.

ive never seen this, hopefully i wont either, even though i would laugh :]

anyways, i think this is something with punkbuster if it's a hack, no clue, wold be gay after like 3 minutes of it.
