Unlock problem..

Ok i have the special forces expansion and stuff. So i made a new accnt and played on bf2 and got 2 new unlocks since now im lance corporal...but now i tried to get on special forces to unlock special forces gun yet im not given the option...any help?

I realize you don't just get the game and immediately hear trumpets...you have to wait awhile and play BF2 and DICE gets around to acknowledging your right to a new weapon.... and then an unlock happens.

For $29.99 US I'm not saying it won't ...but I'm wondering.

Anyone here reached a rank where you had all the possible BF2 weapons and you were due an unlock..but played for awhile...with no unlocks available unless you purchased SF...then your purchased SF and went to your BFHQ and an unlocked weapon was available soon after purchase?

well i havent played much in special forces infact i just got it like 3 days ago... but i played special forces like 3 games. Im guessing i should either play regular bf2 but when im close to reaching a new rank i would switch and play on special forces....the thing is it knows im using special forces since im given 2 unlocks.. yet no unlocks are from special forces im only given the regular bf2 weapons...idk what to do..

edit i found the answer since my accnt was new and had no unlocks yet this is the answer...

With Battlefield 2: Special Forces you will be able to select weapons from the Special Forces expansion pack to use online in the base Battlefield 2 maps.  These new weapons will appear as a second tier of unlocks.  This means you will have to press the class weapon button multiple times to get to this unlock.  These weapons will only be available for unlock once you have unlocked the first tier weapon for that class.  For example the Assault Class first tier weapon (G3) must be unlocked before you can choose the second tier weapon (FN2000 ).

Hmmmm...I was under the impression two unlocks came automatically with SF after you play "a while".
