A friendly phone call to DICE

Hello all. The BFTV crew "The-Swede and Eagle" at bfgeeks were able to get DICE on the phone last evening. The call aired live on the BFTV radio. Maxime "The Big Ass Man" Belanger from DICE canada shared some great info with us.

With the release of the new hotfix 1.21, there will be a 1.3 to follow in the future. (no date as to when it will be released, but it wont be for a while) Thats right, they are already working on a v1.3. nothing was released about what the patch includes, but this was enough about that, we couldnt squeeze too much out of his scrawny ass.

Euro Force is on the way and will be released next Wednesday. This is no news for most of us though, but Maxime was kind to tell us this info.

The interview went great and we had fun doing it.

Last but not least, we were able to get Maxime "The Big Ass Man" Belanger to get his DICE crew to play against the BFTV's TGBF team. Yeah, they are going to play a match of BF2 with the BFTV's TGBF team. We are not sure exactly when, but we will air it LIVE on BFTV.

This is nothing critical about game designers, you'd think they are masters.
Often times, they aren't that skilled at the actual game they design.
Just an observation.

I am sure it will be fun though, you might actually learn something about how the game was designed off-hand, as they play through the rounds.
