Patch 1.21 is sheduled for release tonight, but we are not allowed to give you a specific release time.
Keep your eyes peeled. I have seen the files being mirrored around but I think they are either premature versions or just people jumping the gun.

Basically wait until tommorow if you want to play online as no one has setup any servers to play the new patch as of posting.

There's a leaked version of it on there.

Download at your own risk though.

Just to make it clear, if you download this version you will not be able to play online until Friday, when all of the game servers are upgraded.

Without posting a link that was exactly what I was referring to. Blaht.

Oh well, I hear there is only about 10 servers online for it. Normally EA gives trusted partners a day or two to switch over.

Servers Hosting 1.1.2716-548.0

Feel free to check that and make your own evaluation.

Leaked you say? I say money. I'll probably update when I get back from Jamaica.

I never understood the claymore issue. I tried sniper and could only lay two down. Was there a problem with resupplying and laying down tons without the original ones disappearing like mines and C4 does?

What about the problem with AT rockets passing through tanks? Oh first we gotta fix the crazy zig-zagging missles.

No, you could lay down 5 total. Only 2 at once, then you had to resupply. As far as I understand, they have set the total of 5 down to 2 now, so even if you resupply you will only have 2 out there, the rest will vanish "magically" ;-)

Good a time as any for feedback on the quick patch.
I've been too damn busy to check it.
I suppose it's just minor tweaks.

Yup seems good.

One issue Ive seen is the players on the opposite team dont always show up in the players list. When you hit tab, the enemy list often appears empty or very few players appear. And before you say, yes there are people playing on the other team

Faker is right on the claymore thing, but since it was hardly noticable anyway, essentially nothing has changed.

The hotfix seems to be alright. I have only noticed two problems, the disappearing rockets/missiles problem is still there (maybe worse?) and there seems to be more lag than before. This lag may have just been the servers I was on, but other players said this as well when I was playing. When you first load up a map, the "optimizing shader" message will appear, which leads me to belieive that some minor graphical improvements have been made, but to what, I don't know. Overall, doesn't seem to bad of a fix, and since I can't seem to ever get a ping below 75, the lag issue probably won't affect my overall performance at all.

What makes me mad the most, is that they fixed minor things, but the "red-tag-glitch" still is appearing. Well, I hope they'll fix it eventually...
