stunned at video...

I was a little surprised when I saw that video from the thread that was apparently deleted. I've never encountered anyone cheating like that and it would be obvious if they were.... and I guess there is no proof that it wasn't on a modded server.

Has anyone seen any of the following? (these are things I witnessed in the vid)

1) Knife kills at apparently any distance. The guy just pointed and clicked and killed with his knife and it said it was a knife kill.

2) Unlimited and rapid fire AT weapon. Shooting one right after another in such rapid succession it was like PKM rate. Wicked LOL...

3) Apparent god mode, did not die from tanks and infantry trying to kill him while standing still and killing with his knife from 30 yds away..

4) Sniper rapid fire again like automatic weapon.

I had to LOL at the video, was funny to see but obviously would be very frustrating if you were trying to play a normal game and some complete arse came in and was doing that. I have no problem with people modding a server and doing that with others who want to but people who go into a regular server and do that just for the pleasure of upsetting people have a special place in hell reserved for them....

You guys ever see any of this? It would seem to me that there would have to be a modification in the server for this but the vid says it was in an unmodded public server with PB supposedly watching over it...

That would help me with my Veteran knife badge...

I was just on a server where a guy in a chopper was constantly deploying flares so you could not lock on to him. I hate this recent rise in hacking. This game is turing into a horrible version of CS.

I'm not sure the flare thing is a hack - it seems more like a bug introduced with v1.20.

Yep I thought of Bloodflood when posting this... but the simple truth is we all play on a lot of different pub servers and no one has seen any of it.... therefore it is not worth stressing over. Just play and have fun and move on if you are not...
