Booster available in Germany

GAmestar online, BF2 Euroforce booster pack available in german stores since yesterday.

According to Gamestar, EA decided to sell Euroforce in Germany in stores because the use of credit cards and online purchasing isn't too common with German customers, and EA couldn't stop the production and shipment of those Euroforce packages after deciding to delay the patch

The packaging provides a serial code with which you can access the download, 327 MByte approximately. The EA downloader still needs to be used

Just give us a disk, none of that crap downloading. And I'm sure you would only get 50 kb/s on EA downloader anyways.

Well, not having to produce CDs is what the whole online purchase, booster pack thingy is all about.

They want to cut costs, thats why they want you to download...

The booster pack is costing something around 10 dollars/euros, right ?

Producing a CD would increase the costs to something around 12 Euros per Booster pack, maybe even 14 or 15 if you take everything into account.

Then again, the booster pack doesnt pass a an expansion pack and most people wouldn´t be prepared to pay 15 bucks for a booster.

It does actually make sense...

Maybe it does, I suppose I just prefer to have everything on hard copy.

Why did EA not offer it to the world?

Is it becuase right now its buggy.

Anyway, we do not have it as a ranked host, as does no other ranked host we would get terminated on the spot.
