I didnt know about the hacks but I had to edit it to help prevent stem the flow of them.

Did you submit the hack to punkbuster? A minor update could stop that problem couldnt it?

How is punkbuster and bf2? I just tend to get kicked for swearing when I continue to die alot..and thats about it.

I consider myself very well educated thank you, both in Rl and games.

The problem you fail to recognize is that a lot of the hacks are next to impossible to spot or prove, the only way to prove a uav hack for example is to check through pb screenshots, which most admin have no access to.

Sure you can say you can tell by the way the players moving, or how he suddenly turns that he's using one, That proves nothing as a friend on TS could have just told him someone was there.

As for aimbots, I've been killed many a time on our own server and others by suspicious one shot kills, but didn't cry wolf because of it, as theres always the chance it was legitimate.

Yes the hacks are there, yes some people do use them, problem is can you prove it?

100% solid proof w/o admin access, cant really do that ..but then where would i send it? Ive taken demos of various people that show without a doubt that they are cheating, if you put yourself in the mindset of the particular cheat they are using. Would EA care? I doubt it. So im left with uploading to the servers admin which i see as a waste of time unless of course the suspect had let me know he was a regular on the server, but then that usually means hes either fooling the admins, or the admins dont mind the cheating.

If you check in this post for a guy BenSpazz, he admins for clan [KMU] ranked server. He allows a cheater in his clan to continue to play protesting that he dosnt cheat when anybody watching him can see he is. I sent an email along with demo to their server provider and have yet to see a responce. So im guessing their admins are really just that clueless or they know exactly whats going on an allow it.

I guess the biggest problem is ..i play legit and get ranked like most everybody else ..why shouldnt my $50 include a little better anti-cheat than punkbuster ..and a little harsher punishment for those caught. Look at Valve (Half-Life and mods) ..they have a global anti-cheat system, you cheat and get caught ..your cdkey is killed from all play forever no exceptions.

People that dont have the balls to put their skills up against another mans should have their money taken and their asses shown to the door. EA needs to get tough.
