Why release an expansion pack to a core game that has so many bugs?

Patch 1.21 (coming soon) will be tested in a limited beta with select Battlefield community members starting as early as this week.
Hopefully using trained software test engineers who know how to bug-find, and not the same crowd that 'tested' the last one

On a more pleasant note, Battlefield 2 hit somewhat of a milestone last night with over 52,000 simultaneous players.
Bit like saying 1 out of 80 people who bought the game actually play it that one.

Even whiskers does better.

There's no way in hell I'm buying this. I'm not wasting my money on it until they prove they can at least get the core game right. I shouldn't have to pay good money for a game to be an honorary EA beta tester. If more people spoke with their wallets instead of mindlessly purchasing EA's latest buggy, craptacular product (something I'm guilty of as well) maybe they would take notice. NO MORE!

The game looked more dope in beta stage. With the black hawk missles, cool paintjob on the cobra, mobile anti air on oman, machine gunner turret on apcs, laser designation, fully destrutable enviornment, mp3s in game.

Just look at the screenshots, movies etc. It was dope.

If they only didn't stick to the release date and didn't rush everything. This might have been the altogether best game ever

*Note also that Euro Force is coming in march

I hope that doesn't mean they'll rush armored fury. Thats the only expansion I prevene.

yeah even though im not an advocate of the word dope, I agree. The game was overall disappointing but I guess when I was expecting something that was more fun than bf42 was originally I was bond to be disappointed...

I do wish they kept alot of those features though.

Not totally surprised, but I guess this means that it will be free now? There doesn't seem to be that much added to the overall gameplay. I guess you would buy it if you wanted to hear a Brit voice instead of the American cowboy, or mile-a-minute Chinese.

For real. Its an air dominant map with anti air sites in the most inconvenant spaces, mainly when the U.S. is begginning the assualt.

Also note the way when you are one team you are red. Other team you are blue, 1942 style. I truely like this way better
