Console Commands

Yes probably there is another thread somewhere on here. Can someone tell me what other console commands there are aside from the standard list that my google searches keep coming up with at a multitude of sites.

Specifically, is there a console command to set the servers maximum number of players (sv.???)? There's got to be one. Same with the console command to change to a specific map rather than restart or go to the next map on the list (maplist.???).

I hate using console commands but the server we are now running doesn't have a gui remote manager. BBO isn't going to be developing a manger system. Is there any manager that is considered better than the rest out there that works with a ranked server?

That list is console commands for BF1942.

I'm going to try the admin.changemap xxxxx in BF2 to see if it works. Still looking for the console command to set the maximum number of players on the server. If all else fails, I get hold of the server owner and have him change it manually.

I know you can type renderer.drawHud 0 to turn off the hud...and change the 0 to a 1 to turn it back on....

Thanks, I knew that too, it's on every list of console commands that I've found in my googls searches. The 2 that I was really wanting to know hasn't been on any BF2 list that I have found so far.

Here's a simple request. I formatted my hdd recently and reinstalled BF2, I get "Hints" that I wanna get rid of. I forget how I got rid of them (originally).

The hints to gameplay that show up as visable msg and audible.

I checked the obvious BF2 Options menus but can't seem to find the one to turn off these annoying hints.
