Any know how some pilots rotate the Helo in a 360 arc around a flag (keeping nose pointed to flag)? I've tried this technique with little luck....
It's nasty...not sure if you've been in the middle of the a helo rotating around your final flag and pouring out the pain always pointing the copilot gunner and rockets at your flag.... ![]() |

I could do it back in Desert Combat, but I don't fly helos much anymore in bf2. But Amraam has it though. It takes a lot of practice and skill to pull that off though. If you see helo pilots flying like that, you beter run or you'll just be dead

Well it also could depend on what kind of control method you are using, keyboard, keyboard/mouse combo, or joystick. I cant really describe it right now cause its just natural for me to do it but it has to do with movement in combinations of the three rotational axis. Depending on which direction of the movement, just gonna say clockwise for example, you would use alittle bit of right roll in combination with right rudder and forward pitch (ill have to try it out sometime and see if those are right directions).
And yes it can be nasty but one flaw in it is that if you position yourself under or outside of the circle he is flying then the helo will come around and have its entire side open to fire making it easy to take out, especially with tank shells and rockets.
