How to report Stat Padders in EA's Offical Server

Greets, nice forum was hoping to find one for this great game.

I had my first expirence with a team of stat padders and it made me very mad because in the past my exposure to a nerds desire to make himself look good was limited to aimbots in counter strike and such.

This incident happened in server 'EA US Offical EC1c'

I searched the net and even emailed TOS@EA.com asking how to report such nonsense but came to no end. Id really like to see this team of 3 losers accounts at least closed ..id LOVE to see their cdkeys banned.

Could somebody provide me with a means to report this, being as it happened on an EA server id like to assume something can be done.

Well first you're going to need a live chicken, the blood of a saint, a cow's liver, and six iguana hearts. Next, draw an elaborate summoning circle with the 5 points of elements. Then, summon EA's tech support. They will charge you your soul for their services and then, maybe, JUST MAYBE, they may actually care about those stat padders. Hell, if you go to all that trouble, ask them to fix the red nametag bugs. Good luck.

Heh, well thats cute. I just assumed as when i was searching the internet i saw "EA cracks down on stat padders" I guess that was just press release garbage to give the illusion of effort.

Figures ..battle.net never helped to fix any problems but always claimed they did.

You need the blood of a virgin, not a saint.

EA doesn't care too much about anything except money. I'm guessing that stat padders pay EA for some reason, so therefor EA likes them. Now if you want to believe any of this crap then go right ahead, otherwise, I don't hold it against you.

Argh, I knew it must have been virgin! Also, I learned that the cow liver is substitutable with 3 sheep intestines (large and small). Thanks Naval.

But in all seriousness, you should just give up. Sorry but EA is EAvil and will stop at nothing to claim one thing and one thing only, your wallet. Once they get it, they will do next to nothing to help you.

Hi Guys,
We have noticed an increase in behavior where leased servers are being used by clans solely to pad players stats, even to the extent where clans are institutionalizing rules that forbid normal play. Currently the favored method is for player admins to set rules where players must use either a knife or Pistol, players must revive each other, and players must not take flags. This creates environments where players gain stats unrealistically and creates an imbalance in the ranked server playing field. In our opinion, these players are breaking EA’s Terms of Service, and we have begun taking action on the clans involved. However, clan coordination to this extreme requires us to create a long-term solution for this (separate from any scoring changes in 1.03).

As a group, Ranked Partners included, we need to work together to aggressively crack down on any server that is found to be promoting stats exploiting in order to maintain the integrity of the stats system.

The following steps will be taken each time we locate a server exploiting through enforced admin rules:

1. Customer support will strip the stats from those caught on the server at the time of discovery and anyone sharing a clan tag with the offenders that seem to have any anomalous stats.

2. We will contact the Trusted Partner who has leased the instance in question to the offending clan and request that the clan is immediately moved over to a non-Ranked server. This clan should not be given an opportunity to lease another Ranked Server from said partner, as they have too many avenues of coordinating exploitative actions.

3. If said clan continues to have access to a Ranked server, we will be removing the IP of offending server from the validated list shortly after contacting the Ranked Partner connected with them.

Please keep in mind we are not holding the hosting partner responsible for the actions of these clients. Also note that the tools we need to employ if we reach step 3 may impact other clients you are hosting. Because of this, we do ask that each partner works to ensure that clans/groups that engage in this behavior are removed from your clientele. We have ‘busted’ a few servers already and those partners have been exceptional in their response to correct the errant behavior.

Notify your clients that if they are running their servers in the manner described above or in any manner which could be questionable that they must cease such actions and run pure servers. Please forward any reasonable questions your clients have to me, off list, and I will reply.

I guess this applies to nerd clan kids but what about the nerds who organize w/o a tag in order to give the appearence of skill.

Speaking of evil...anyone recall a patch that scoured your harddrive for legal virtual cd programs? Patch 1.12 does. Made me uninstall mine to patch.

Also..DICE/EA in it's brilliance made it so that if you cleaned your harddrive of earlier BF2 demos/games... problems arose in playing BF2 online.

Here's EA/DICE's reply..."uninstall BF2 and reinstall to remedy being dropped to desktop playing BF2 online after uninstalling earlier BF1942 demos..etc"

Hey DICE/EA... many cannot uninstall or reinstall BF2 to remedy it (I'm a pro ). We basically have to format C: to be able to reinstall BF2.

Ok - here comes the noob question - How/what is a stats padder? Is it a exploited code flaw that's in BF2 or a specific battle tactic? Just want to know how to catch these loosers.

Well im sure theres exploits that people use such as the fullbright model hack, the wallhack, and huid's multi-tools. The instance im refering to is this.

(3) people all friends possibly the same person as i never saw them all moving or talking at the same time.

They joined EA's ranked server and ran to some isolated almost out of bounds position and proned to be out of sight.

One was on USMC team as assult class. The other two were in the MEC team as medic and assault. The USMC assault would kill the MEC assault, thus getting points for kill. Then the MEC medic would revive him, thus getting points for a revive/heal. Then they would repeat over and over. They ended up with about 1000 points between the two and the dummy account had none.

So these losers walked out of the game with numerious badges and awards and a great boost to rank and battle count.

Pretty fukin sad huh? Even more so is that it seems EA dosnt give a damn and lets this happen in their own server none the less.

Oh man - that's low-life tactics for sure - what's the point of having a high score/badge but not done squat to earn it? There's something about earning points or a badge by effort that rocks

I recorded their accounts, the server name and ip, and the time and date. Im just looking for a way to report this nonsense.
