Default Heal and run medics - make comment

Medics jump out, revive you, get teamplay points, then jump back to safety 3 times in 30 seconds while you die 3 times during an obvious turkey shoot.

DICE should and could have put a time limit between a medic reviving same teammate.

Why the hell DICE didn't address this in the last patch is beyond me. It's the most obvious and biggest oversight of BF2.

A medic should not be able to revive you unless you hit your fire key after dying [that calls for him to do so], or DICE should put time limit between healing same teammate. One or the other.

I'd have to disagree. Medics are a godsend IMO. Anything that gets me back in the fight faster is OK in my book.

I don't see any problem with how medics play. I mean, after all, isn't that a medics job?

Yup, I like being a medic and like having medics revive me. Just annoying when you have just been kille, and then being revived a second later just to be killed again- especially when there is a tank and i want to switch to AT when i spawn

There is nothing funnier then continuously mowing down a guy that keeps being revived. Its fine with me, its part of Battlefields game play style.

I'd like a choice tho. Having your respawn taken away from you by some medic who imposes revive on you to be shot 3 more times as he ducks for cover and gets teamplay points for it is a fucking ripoff.

Plain and simple.

Read my freaking main post above.

The best medics are the ones that flank the guy that killed you and put a few rounds into him before they revive you. Those medics are REAL Godsends. Medics, like me

Makes no sense to me. I mean are you going to bitch if an engineer comes up behind you and keeps repairing your tank hit after hit? I know at times it sucks to get revived then getting killed again, but that is how it goes. Medics just do what medics do. Thanks medic!

I have said it before and I will say it again.....LEAVE YOUR SELECTION SCREEN UP IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE REVIVED.

Its silly to have to do it but its a workaround if you know you have no chance of living if revived.

I like it, unless u have a medic in ur squad (which usually i have to take that job) they are your only hope. Besides, i also like killing them as they rush in to revive people, more kills for me

Medics are definitely a strong part of teamplay, but its those medics that will revive ya in a position where you cant even live a second and ya die again, then revive you again and you die again, that get on my nerves. I kinda put a limit at two to three revives in such a spot, after that if he revives me i just hunt him down, team kill doesnt matter at that point.

Is it sick if, as support, I mow down one guy and wait for the medic to come and revive him, then kill them both to get 3 kills?

I love seeing a medic jump from around the corner onto a guy that I just killed.... LOL... right into my crosshairs... I shoot for the medic first because by the time I kill him he has revived the other guy who is ready for his second death immediately after

I am wondering something. If I kill a guy, does running up to him and crankin more rounds into him critically wound him? So a medic can't revive him?

I always do if I have time. For them cases when a medic sneaks in there and revives him and then the 2 of them tag team ya. Am I wasting my ammo, or does this work?

ya rev, but then you dont get to the person who is down in time to revive him.

on topic again, honestly, we need to look at this both ways, what if the medic is a stats paddler, and the guy killing you is involved.

also what if the medic is just trying to help, or a complete n00b.

Well everything in BF2 can go either way. I love medics. I love getting revived because I get to stay closer to the action. But if there was an option to deny medic help by maybe giving you the ability to critically kill yourself, that would be cool.

There have been times, as mentioned above, where you get revived and hammered a second later. Or other times when you just wanna die, so you have the option to come back as a different kit. SO I can see the need for such an option.
