Try typing in a map name in box and spelling it wrong. Then hit Enter or whatever to join sever. Nothing happens. OK.
The Main server list turns blank. Try backing out the wrongly worded map name. Nothing. Try hitting bottom left Rejoin button to get back to main servers list. Nothing. The Main List Server window remains blank...no servers listed. I have to quit BF2 and start up the entire game anew. Another biatch thingy. Go to Favorites server list and hit the Refresh key. Nothing happens. None of your Favorites servers refresh even tho DICE provides a REFRESH key in that area! You have to go back to the Main server sniffer screen and do refresh/update there for any servers in Favorites to be updated/refreshed. ![]() |

Yep...very annoying. My soloution is to join any server, press escape as soon as it starts loading then click on update server list....works for me and saves quitting the game.

anyone notice that if you join any server from the ingame browser, that the server is added to your favorites? Even if you connect by entering in the IP, it gets added to your favorites. Kind of annoying seeing as someone might join a server they have never played before and probably won't play at again (lame server rules etc that you find out about after you have connected). Another petty annoyance with v1.3. Did they actually beta test the patch or did they just say that they did?

I found that after u spell a map name wrong just erase the name and take off all your filters. Then hit refresh and they usually come back for me.

I'm not saying the cd is glitchy or anything, i am just saying i can get the browser to work, ok? He asked me if i had a special version and i said just the cd version. I just would have pefered DVD because it is only one slot in my game case as opposed to 3
