Weapon unlocks

Hi guys can you help me?? I got my first weapon unlock and like a retard I unlocked the poxy shot-gun for the engineers class by accident! While it looks cool, I always play spec ops and use a Carbine not a Shot-gun. How many points do need for the next weapon unlock??? The M4 is getting alittle boring and I feel that I need alittle G36 Business..................

Hi there, If youve just unlocked it and you dont like it, its best to start over Im afraid mate. Im guessing you have about 1000-1200 points ish, so it would be far easier to make a new acount and earn those 1000 points again, than it would to continue and wait till u hav 10'000 points to get ur 2nd unlock.

LOL, Ive got 2000 points and I still havent chosen mine yet lol. Dont wanna get it wrong!

Thanks for the reply, 10,000 points!!! no way i'm up to 2100 points now but thats a whole lot of game time to play for a new weapon! Man they need to change that! If I were to start a new account I would have to have a new name would I not? and also can I use my email adress again or would I have to use a different one?

Yep you would need a new name. And an alternate e-mail address.

I made the mistake of picking the L85 medic unlock...its crap! Nearly at 9,000 points now so the G3 is nearly in reach!

No you can't use the same email. Just make one up. It's not like EA will use it to contact you. Just make one up, or use another one you have, and start a new guy. Thats what I did, so I have 4 accounts with the 4 different unlocks on them.

Nice thats sounds like a plan, I think that I will do that 1000 pts is easy now I have half a clue how to play the game. Still I think that the unlocks should be every 1000-2000 pts because more weapons=more fun!

LOL me too.... not sure which to unlock next tho.... I like to play a class that can get alternate points (like support or medic) but it sure would be nice to have the only gun with high power AND accuracy, may have to go with assault but you don't get a second chance to decide... 7500 or so now, slowly getting there....

Is this for online play or offline?? Sorry if I sound stupid but am new to the BF series I only have the Modern Combat demo and am thinking about buying a new pc so I can play bf2 along with other reasons. How does this unlocking work though?? thanx

The funny thing is as has been widely discussed from what i can see on these forums is that the weapons in the game bear virtually no relation to thier real life counterparts the M16 and M4 are essentually the same weapon apart from the fact that the M4 has a shorter barrel therefore less accurate at range, but in the game its less powerful despite being chamberd for the same round, 5.56 nato FMJ (muzzel velocitys must be about the same) the L85 or SA80 as it should be is extreamly accurate but yet in the game you would be better off with a wet kipper. Also I was dissapointed not to see the OICW or the Styer ACR available as unlockable weapons, did someone say MOD? well it is called modern combat these weapons are about as cutting edge as they get check out the Styer's 'Flachette' amunition Nasty!

Mark this is for online play, its really annoying!! WE NEED MORE GUNS!!! Definatly get the full game it is without question the best online shooter at the moment.
