I WANT MY UPDATE! Maybe if we bitch about it enough it will come? Feels like i'm getting the cold shoulder... know what I mean? Or are they putting all their effort into the expansion? Come on EA... get your head out your ass... really

If the patch is bug-free when it eventually comes, then I think the wait is worth it. However, I have a feeling that won't be the case...

Also, I think the expansion's being developed by DICE Canada, whereas BF2's being patched by DICE Sweden - so the expansion shouldn't be taking time away from patches or anything.

Every 'release Ive seen has outlined that process right there...Else, Im sure a lot more would be on the 'boycott the expansion ' bandwagon.

Given the nature of what were talking about, Im hoping theres decent communication between the 2. It would suck just to find the expansion utilized pre-patch code... Tho, if I can think of that, someone much smarter mustve already, Right?

Wrong.

I think the expansion pack will probably be good but not excellent. The code will probably be prepatch as you said unless the two DICEs get rolled together.

Well I think all the expansion is going to do is add "variety". And in my eyes, I can download a bunch of mods and have a butt load of fun. I love bf2... I just wish that update would get here.
