I used to use mines and claymores but the continuing amount of retards running over those is too many. I cannot say how many servers I have gotten banned from because people have their eyes closed or something

So I started being commander a lot and really liking it. I started raping people with arty and winning round after round. But on occasion you call a strike in at a flag to help approaching squads to an enemy flag and they COMPLETELY ignore the big ass red arty symbol and drive there. Bam kicked from the server

It's gotten reGODdamndiculous IMO and I have gotten completely sick of it. That part of the game is a complete joke...the intention was good I am sure but the result has been just silly. And I believe that people probably many times ignore the pageup pagedwn request and that the system defaults to punish you. Anyways, server admins should have control over what goes the punish abilities and settings are. And commanders should have more leeway cause people are SOFOOKING stupid with regards to arty.

There are some servers that warn about over punishing which is excellent but if this trend continues people are going to just run around with one kit so as to not risk accidental tks.

Some people are being better about it now, but recently I was on a server where I was on Zatar wetlands, planting mines where they couldn't be easier to see for my team, and they would run right over them, and instantly punish the TK. But then one of them switched to the other team (thank god) and I got to kill him and then rub it in his face

Seriously, though, I think people run over mines on purpose.

I was playing commander last night and I had a mass of enemies coming to one flag to capture it, and none of my guys were in the area, so I dropped the artillary near the flag to catch the enemies as they go there. I start typing in chat 'watch out, arty coming!' and I yell the commands on the radio to the squads 'artillary your area!'. The enemies get there, I blow back 5 guys on foot, and then 3 guys on my team from out of nowhere wanna run up in the middle of the artillary strike and get teamkilled. all 3 want to punish, and it was obvious there was artillary dropping before they ran right into the middle of it...The fact that I killed over 5 enemies in the attack didn't care to those asshats

Yea, thats retarded. What server were you on, I think I spotted you on a server somewhere.

Maybe EA could make it so if you call artillery and then your team enters the artillery zone and gets TKed, they can't punish.

I've noticed that servers are turning off tk punishing... atleast on the ones I've been playing on. So hopefully many more servers will start disabling it too.
