Looking at the mods page reminded me of the music feature in BFV that allowed you to play your own music ingame in the vehicles. Now I never got that to actually work in BFV, but I wanted to know if this is also a feature in BF2 or did DICE just throw out the whole idea? No one has really talked about this in BF2 yet, so that is why I ask.

It was one of those cool but dumb features, mainly because it became a n00b-alert tool. Pretty much everyone discovered within 10 minutes of starting that having music blaring from your vehicle made it pretty easy for the enemy to tell you were coming.
From not long after it came out I almost never heard the music playing unless you got a newbie on the server. |

The in-vehicle music was another item on the very long list of reasons BFV should have never been made.

I would still blast the music if it was a feature in game. Dun-dun de-dun dun.
Ah, feed your head. You guys get too intense on the serious side of things, just light up, jump in a jeep, blast your music and shoot to kill. PLSD. |

It would be funny to blast that song from the video of the people using the (knife/revive) thing. But it would be all the more embarassing when you got killed with that music on.
The Deus Ex battery park combat music would sound just right when you are rushing to a base with your guns blazing in a humvee or in a helicopter as you circle a ground target while taking fire IMO. |
