Needed Bandwith for BF2

I am on business travel for a few days and I brought my gaming rig along..... I just tested the wireless system in my hotel and I am getting about 316Kbs. Can I game on that? I will try in a few minutes on a 16-man server...but I just cannot find the required specs anywhere.

Any info would be appreciated.

More than enough, I think the required is 126kbs or something.

Your main concern should be whether or not the hotel network blocks the necessary ports to connect, speed is kind of a secondary issue after that.

Its wireless...and in Wisconsin....anything quicker than an Amish buggy is fast here.

Thanks guys. I sense a difference...but not much...for now am am staying on 16 man servers while in the hotel. I can fight.

That should be ok for playing on - but not enough to run a server or anything. The ping should be ok as long as the connection at the other end of the wireless is adequate.

The measure is a long drawn out math equation that was invented by stoners in the US gov. LOL. I really do have the answer in one of my books I'm just too lazy right now to look threw all of them to find it. If you really want to know I supose I can take a few to look for ya.
