i personnaly dont agree with it i think everything needs to be scaled on importance. everyone keeps saying that you need 1 gb ram get it youll need it, so should that me more important over the processor or video card? also if you have a shitty proceessor it wont give directions to your video card so it doesnt matter what card you have. idk well see tomarrow when the demo comes out

Having 1GB of RAM is very important.

I had 512 in my old machine and until I got this new one with 1GB I could not beleive the overall difference!! I am even thinking of getting another GB when I get paid

Don't titan. A64s have a problem with the onboard memory controller.

Anything apart from Venice and San Diego can't run 4 DIMMs at DDR 400.

Venice and SD can only run single sided DIMMs at DDR400 1T, double sided have to be run at 2T.

I would generally agree with that chart though. But im sure its been posted before.

Meh, I'll know what my system is capable of shortly after I install BF2. I'll worry about it then.

Its a bitch for sure but the onboard memory controllers speed far outweighs the inabilty to do 4 DIMMs.

I would agree with the chart. From the sys specs that I have read about being used by testers and showing it off that chart looks to be accurate.

that's just a guide. everyone's comp is different even if its the same spec. it sometimes depends ur stability of ur comp. this involves the brand and the configuration of ur comp. but i think the chart is accurate in a sense.

in my laptop i currently have 512 mb ram im going to see how it goes with the demo but mostly buy a 1gb stick and put it in alog with one of the 256 mb sticks. i found gb sticks for only like $100 where as dell wanted an additional $200 to upgrade the 512 mb to 1 gb when i first bought my laptop. i think with that i should be able to get some high settings
