How does spawning at squad leader work?

From my understanding you can join a squad and when you die you will spawn at the squad leader's position. Is this correct? And if so how does this apply to squad leaders that are in vehicles?

Yeah you can spawn at the squadleaders position.
And if he is in a vehicle you can spawn in it, but i dont know what happends when the vehicle is filled up with people..

If the cehicle is full then I'm guessing you spawn next to it as it goes flying by you. And if he's in a plane I'm thinking you may spawn on the ground in the area he is passing over as opposed to spawning in the air.

you should spawn next to the plane and parachute down that would be pretty cool.

also you can only spawn on your squad leader correct?

and can a squad leader spawn on the commander?
