BluesNews has alerted Battlefield Nation, along with numerous other sources including the trouble shooting Battlefield 2 forum,
that certain versions of ATI graphics card drivers are experiencing
problems. Recommended short term solution, roll back to 5.1 Catalysts.

ATI Cards and Battlefield 2 Demo

In testing the demo, EA has encountered some visual issues on certain ATI cards
with the previous Catalyst drivers (5.5) and are working with yesterday's 5.6
release to discover if the issue is resolved. If in playing the Battlefield 2
demo you encounter texture corruption of any kind, we recommend rolling back to
the Catalyst 5.1 drivers. ATI is aware of this issue and is working to resolve
it.

Be intresting to see what the time limit is.

Maybe 30 min or something, anything lower and it'll suck.

Still its nice to see a demo at all. V didnt have one.

I'm a happy bunny

Nice to have a demo, they must be confident it does not suck as they would probably lose a lot of sales if it does.

Yup,demos are good. You know ,now that I think back, the Wake Island demo was proubly the best demo I've ever played. It kind of snuck up on me and the first time I got in there and planes and ships and jeeps all over the place, damn,I was on the phone to my buddy in 5 minutes and after he downloaded it away we went.I look forward to the same thing very soon with BF2.

I guess I am assuming the time limit per round is to discourage people from playing it as a kind of stand-alone game?

The demo can mean only one thing: The game is that much closer to being finished!

Oh, and I'm not interested in anything larger than 16 player games anyhow, so 32 player limits suit me quite well.

Better luck next time.

It would be cool if all the nations could be played in every map. ie: US vs China, China vs. Russia, Russia vs. US.... The map vehicles just change.

My guess is the map will be Gulf of Oman. One of the EA servers was called "EA Demo Playtesting" and was on Gulf of Oman..just a guess though.
