I've not kept up on the new developments as far as things like net prediction and ping latency impact.
They are adding so much new stuff. Cruel tho it may sound...shouldn't they lock out 56k..and will they? I'm gonna be awaiting how well BF2 does compared to the often less than great, but adequate netcode prediction of BF1942. I'm talking shooting soldier to soldier. |

56k are locked out officialy. But nothing can really stop them playing on servers with up to 16 people.
64k ISDN is however supported and was noted as one of the key reasons to drop the 100 olayer support. That of course is rubbish since theres no way ISDN users could ever effectivly participate in a 40 player online battle.
