Default Virtual memory for BF.

Quick question. I have 512 mb ram in my comp. I let Windows run the virtual memory(Win98 se). Should I manually set the virtual memory for double the amount of ram or should I continue to let windows manage it? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I would never let Windows do anything like that.

I never had a problem with windows running it until the latest set of games had come out. That is why I asked. Is setting virtual memory for double the amount ram the best way to go or not? Once again, thanks for any advice you guys might have.

your virtual memory should be 1.5 times your memory

so you have 512mb set it to 768

and for the guy who has it at 50mb your an idiot
