How do you choose what server to play on

How do you choose what server to play on?
For now i play on EA servers and its kind good. not enough team play.

How do you guys choose what server to play on?
Is there one you also play on or is it alwyas different

Honestly, I look to see what the ping of the players are. Anyone has 250+, I ignore that server.

Aside from that, players/map. But hey, I am easily pleased.

I've been playing on just a few good servers found by trial and error. Just join the one's where your ping is low and you'll find a good server with some degree of teamplay.

You can find ASE here As far as the BF Nation server ( bfcpt ), it all depends on who's there. Often if there's clan members or our clan playing on it, then yes you'll see much more teamplay than usual.

Anyway, I have like 15 servers that I usually play on. Alot of them are boomtown servers, which I have a pretty good ping on. If I have a fair ping and there's a good map on, I usually join. Unless there's too many players on it.. I don't have a good comp, so I usually end up lagging on servers with more than like ~40 players.

I have a bunch saved in my favorites folder on ASE. I usually see a teammate in there first and join them. Low ping is a must.

Anyone here pay for the full version of ASE? Is it worth it in your opinion?

I'm sitting here with my kid watching "Barney". They're singing "Mr Knickerbocker", and watching that Hammer avatar jam in synch is kinda freakin me out.

But back on topic..... I used my filter for the first time last night.

I only entered 20 into the players slot. Like 150 servers listed in just a couple seconds. Then I clicked ping, and went to the besy available Coral Sea, which is my usual start off. After a few rounds, I did the same for Omaha. If the Omaha server doesn't change maps after a few, then I look for El Alemein or something "high player/low ping."

I payed for ase I really wanted more then 4 buddies. This way I can get my entire clan on there plus random other people! :-)

I have the following filters in my ASE:
Both friendly fires on, allow nose cam, mods none/DC 0.3, version 1.31, not empty, European servers. And still I have plenty of them

Also one could use BFStats for searching for servers.
I'm most likely going to pay for the full version pretty soon, it seems to be worth it.

i look for a battle i want (then play whatever comes up on that server
after that)...small ping and either like 2 people or almost full.
