Do you have to have patch 131 to play online?????

I just bought this game today and when i try and join an online game, everytime it says it cant connect to the server. Do you need to have the newest patch installed, and if not, what is wrong???

Battlefield1942.com has a link somewhere, probably downloads

well you do but you don't if some one was hosting one of the older patchs you could play but I don't see that happening so just grab the 1.31 patch and if it would take to long for you to download it get a friend to do it for you.
