Resolution driving me crazy

how come BF will show different resolution setting once in a while. I lost the option of 1280 by 1024?! how can i get this back??????

You had that option? I only have 1280x960 and my monitor does support higher resolutions than that. I'm gonna try gettin' new drivers for my monitor. Let's see if it changes anything.

Are you sure that you have your 9700 selected. Check it in display

Actually, make sure you have the latest drivers, then restart, and then try changing your desktop resolution

change the refreash rates from 0 to 1, then give it a shot if u havnt already

its weird i have 9700 selected, got the latest video fdrivers, even reinstalled the game...... is there i file in bf i can go edit the list of available resolutions??? i got it to give me 1280 x 968 back but i need 1280 by 1024.......... its really confusing.

Try the refresh rate change from 0 to 1. I used to have only a few res. choices, but now I have 42 choices. From 640x480x16@60 to 1280x960x32@85. I run at 1024x768x32@75, same as my desktop.

hehe done that....i know about that refrewsh rate fix..... but it wont show the right resolutions......... thnx anyway

I'd maybe try a dif. driver, maybe an older one?
