These are the forum rules. We'll post a reply to this thread if they need to be updated in the future.

General

No warez talk at all - including cracks and serials.
No racism.
No pornographic or offensive avatars.
No offensive signatures.
No spamming or posting to get a higher post count.
No double posting. There's no point of having the same discussion in 2 threads.
Don't advertise products, irc channels, toothpaste, your website, etc. without permission. Links to screenshots, reviews, previews, interviews etc. are of course allowed.
Limit the size of the avatar (see Avatar section below for details).
Limit the use of smilies.
Limit the use of exclamation marks and question marks (! and ?).
Any annoying gifs, flash etc in signatures will lead to a warning. Three warnings and you are out.
No offending other forum members. If you have a problems with each other, solve it in private.
Don't bring back old topics unless you have something important to say.
- Clan recruiting topics may be 'bumped' once per month. Only 1 topic per clan is allowed.
- It is up to the forum staff to decide whether a post is a 'bump', or a valid contribution to the thread.
No impersonating of EA guys by putting an [EA] tag in front of your name.
No links to annoying/harming websites (pop-up flooding, etc.).

Signature

Your signature should be no longer than 500 pixels wide, and no more than 200 pixels high, this is including text.
Your signature may not exceed 100KB, excluding text.
Moderators and admins can either delete your signature, or tell you to remove it yourself. If you don't comply, you will get a warning. If you don't follow the warning given, you will be banned temporarily.

Avatar

Your personal picture/avatar can be no more than 100 pixels wide, and no more than 120 pixels high.
Your avatar can be no more than 100KB. If we get complaints about your avatar being offensive or annoying, we'll ask you to change it.
Moderators and admins will ask you to change your avatar, if it is in breach of these rules.
If you still don't comply, we will either delete your avatar or remove your ability to have an avatar.
Note: Swastika's are not allowed, not in sigs nor avatars.

If you get three warnings from me or any other staff member via PM or you are warned directly in a post on the forum then consider yourself banned. So be good

New rule:

Any topics containing outwar URLs pretending to be links to something BF related will be deleted immediately. Not regarding this rule 2 times will result in a ban.

PS: Something personal to add: Im not a big fan of these discussions about politics. They tend to end in a flame war in any case. So try to keep them to a minimum...

I've updated the layout and wording to make the rules easier to understand. The rule regarding Clan recruitment threads has also been changed - previously you were allowed to bump the thread when it disappeared from the first page, now you are allowed to bump the thread once per month.

Please take a second to read the rules and make sure you understand and follow them. Thanks.
