HELP!! bf1942 wont uninstall!!!

im trying to uninstall bf1942 so i cant reinstall it, but when i hit uninstall it says "an installation support file could not be installed"........ ahhhhhh, can n e one help me with this one? thanks in advance

Is it still in the reg.? After uninstalling did you manually delete anything that was added after installing?
