Question about F8 and radio commands menu

Does anyone know the console command to keep the top row menu
radio command list hidden at all times, even when a new map starts? Is there one?
I messed around trying to accomplish this way before the patch with no success. Maybe I overlooked something in that readme.

yes it was possible (dont know why they would have taken it out)

the F8 key maybe? I dont remember

This may sound stupid, but here goes. If you toggle off the buttons then the commands don't work?

I have thought about getting rid of those boxes, but I'll leave them alone if this is the case.

That info you posted about the old chat worked just great.

I'd like not to have to hit F8 key each and
every new map game in order to clear my top screen of radio commands
menu. Should be possible you'd think.

I'd guess there is probably a setting you could put in one of the con files that would do it, but I dont have a clue what it would be

there was a button i pushed once and it disapered and i hit it again and it reapeared try the f9 through f12 buttons maybe that will help
