How to play road to rome and stay on version 1.2

Hey all,

Just wanted to share something I discovered this weekend after getting fed up with the 1.3 patch (sorry if this has already been posted). You can play road to rome on version 1.2. Just install road to rome as normal then completely uninstall ONLY the original BF 1942.

Patch and mod the game as you want. I can now play with all the merciless stuff, the desert combat .2 alpha and still play road to rome.

You could always download Desert Combat 0.25 for BF1.3 and enjoy the goodness....

Can't imagine you'll find many 1.2 servers for long.

I'm still in SP mode until DSL arrives

... only two short months

This was mainly for all the other SP losers like me.
