Default Steadying your shot.

Hey im not sure if a lot of people know about this...but i just realized it yesterday...

Every weapon besides grenades or other explosives will work with this...

All you do is (say you have a rifle)...you MUST be standing up...you hold down right click...and you will notice that your rifle steadies...making it very accurate...the same with the sniper rifle...when you go to zoom in, hold down right click...your scope wont move and you'll have a precise hit every time!

whoa, that is wack. At first I thought you were talkin about zoom on weapons, but this is much cooler. Great for taking out mg'rs and snipers

I don't understand. You hold right click after you click the site zoom?

Not working for me. You hold down the secondary fire key, right?

I got it working, there's a definite improvement. Especially on the sniper rifles, I could never get headshots before.. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions/readme, it's quite cool. A little awkward, tho.. *getting WWIIonline flashbacks*

For those who can't get it working, I'm not sure how to explain it.. You have to hold secondary fire the WHOLE time, don't let it go for a second. If you press mouse2 twice, you just pull your rifle in and bring it back down.

well what you do is hold right click, or whatever your secondary function key is set to, and you will see that your crosshair is totally straight..and if you can see your gun you will notice that it is also perfectly straight and still...you only press right click ONCE...if you press it twice it will still work but you wont be zoomed anymore...have fun!

PS - xcorporalx you so silly...hahaha...im so sorry my sig gives you the willies...and i hope we meet in a server sometime! muaha!

Oh man. I used to have to hold the scope for 5 seconds before I can get a accurate shot with my No4. This is big! Thanks clown!

No, you hold down your zoom/secondary fire key and it does just that,
zooms in. Holding it down didn't have any neato effect with me.
Unless it has to do with binding the right mouse to activate it,which I don't,

Great tip. I noticed the gun steady right away. But crouching or going prone still seems to provide more accuracy. What about you guys?

It works, really well. Thanks a ton you scary clown, this really helps. Makes for a hell of a sniping engi, or anything for that matter. Only works while standing, but its very effective.

You guys are just now figuring this out? I knew it quite a while ago when the game was released. I don't know if it helped as much as now, but it still helped alot. Its very nice especially if you need to burst fire.

Dont think this ability will be a miracle... but it does help. Always remember to pause for a moment after moving before firing at a target with your K98 engineer rifle. I always wait for my targets to pause for a second to do whatever they need to do instead of wasting bullets trying to tag a moving target. Once they stop... they are dead, and its one shot, one kill. Same goes for being a sniper. Only take those shots you KNOW will bring in a clean kill.
