Default Damn Kids!!

Ok who out there is ex-military? at least a ground pounder? My 16 year old schools me in FPS games and I finaly figured out why. You see I'm ex-military 8 years in fact and was a MP during that time so naturaly when I shoot I shoot for "Center of Mass" that means I aim and fire at the chest area. It is a habit that was POUNDED into me in basic and later during my police training, anyway my son doesn't aim for center of mass and instead aims for the head... which as you know offers a quicker kill.

Now I have been trying to do this but I keep hearing my old Drill Instructor yelling at me and I keep firing at CM... damn! So if you see some poor fool riddling your mid-section with lead its most likley me... or some other poor fool that has done 13 weeks of hell with Uncle Sam.

If you're a good shot in fps games..and in close up shooting match with
1 or more...go for head shots to survive awhile.

His kid beats him at the game.

Probably do to his old reflexes more than anything...

Fat & happy 11B weekender here. I play scout a lot so I aim for the neck with my scoped Springfield but with my .45 I always aim center mass.

The one thing that I've noticed is that I hate getting killed in the game. Maybe it's because when your MILES goes off in the box it means game over.

81132 (thats USAF for Law Enforcement)

I was taught center mass too, but since I Scout for my team a lot I've learned to take the head shots

im planning on joining the airforce out of highschool

if i got my smg i aim at the chest and fire a spurt, cause the kick of the gun pulls it up anyways and i can score a headshot at the end of a spurt.

i agree,

i've found that what works for me the best is starting at the upper chest and letting the recoil pull me off a few head shots
