Well, not really TKer.
This guy GODMODE_CHEATZ was on an nvidia server earlier tonight. Because of this 1 individual, the Axis team lost multiple times and a lot of people decided to leave the server. In the El Alamein map, he took a tank and decided to blow up our planes. Yes, he was German and blowing up our planes from within the hangar. Also TKing by shooting people who'd fly and crash because they didn't open their chutes in time. Next map is Wake. This guy gets into the Destroyer, rams the carrier and starts shooting the planes on the carrier again. This was awful and really frustrating. Isn't there a votekick function in Bf 1942? Also, what can be done to really punish TKers? To ban them from all public servers? Is there a deterrent to TKing? Thanks for listening to my rant, I am really really pissed tonight. ![]()

I had the same expierence the other day. I was in El Alamein yesturday and hopped into one of the nVidia servers to get my fix. I spawned by the tank factory got into a tank and started to head for the southern most spawn to try abd take it. I drove passed one of the "cubbie" holes and saw a sherman tank with a German in it and kept going. Then bang!!!!!! He shot me from behind! FF was off so i took no damage but i sat and watched him launch shell after shell at empty vehicles and other people, what a dick!
He wanted to play hide and seek so i blocked him the "cubbie" hole. That held him for a little while. When he got out i chased him down and hounded him tiil i got him near a cliff and turned him over. Didnt kill him but destroyed the tank. Did i do a bad thing? I hate tkr's and find it hard to take that crap from those people. I know i need to let it go and try to get them booted but its so hard not to blast them back! Maybe i need to take a break from this game.........hell no!!! ![]() |

I actually tk'd a team mate yesterday, and it felt kinda good. I was playing on some server running Omaha and was using one of the def guns. We had 2 of the flags, were missing the beach, so I was pounding the sand using a scout to view with. Suddenly the health of my gun started to drop, I though it might be off shore guns getting me but no shells were coming and the damage didn't seem to be right. So just b4 the gun blew up I exited to repair it and blamo I get done with a friendly grenade.
Turns out some punk had decided to do off both the def guns. I thought nothing of it, though I was sure pissed. So I went down to the second level of the map and I found him lying on the ground in one of the bunkers. I found myself very distracted by him, and began to watch him to see if he did anything to help the team. He lobbed grenades in to the bunker.... Killing us all, including himself. Well that was it, and I became a TK. I haven't ever tried to kill a team mate before then, but I gave it my all to make sure that I killed him every chance I got. I switched from a engi to a scout, joing the vast majority of my team as that class and set up on the high ridge. I shot the bastard every time I saw him, did shoot 2 americans aswell. Felt great, and I loved to see him whine. Got him atleast 15 times, sure it didn't help the battle though we still won |

I think if there is solid evidence there should be some sort of way to get those "SOM' BITCHES" kicked out...great post from Deserter...I need to log that one in.
If I run across purpose TK'ers, I spend my every minute chasing him down in the server.. It then can be view as I am the bad guy (happened once) Just trying to give my little dose of capital punishment for Team Killing. Am I playing God, jusgement and all?? I dont know but I hate those "SOM' BITCHES" |

Was playing OFP the other day, and this one guy on my team kept running us over with an HMMWV (however it's spelt). He killed this one guy twice, another guy once, and he kept running over our ammo crates at the base. Eventually, I lost my temper and shot him. Then he goes "WTF!?", and I ask him how it's fair for him to be team-killing if the rest of us can't. He just says "dunno, cause its fun? =P" and shoots me. Then for the rest of the round he keeps whining about how we all suck, and eventually he leaves...
I don't understand team-killers... I admit that I have done some team-killing like I did that day, but I've only ever team-killed when someone has been team-killing on purpose for some time; or by accident (somehow some people like running in front of me while I'm firing at enemies). It seems like there are deliberate team-killers in every online gaming community. At least I haven't noticed as much team-killing in BF1942 as I did in the demo, but I usually stick to the same servers, not sure if that has anything to do with it. -- zenzelezz

Im also in a online racing league(Nascar Racing 2002 Season) on the Sierra servers. They have you log in to their server sight with your own personal user id(no 2 the same) and pw. The racing software monitors each race you enter and how well you do. They have a LPI(Laps Per Incident) rating. You can set up races that only people that have a high LPI can get into. Maybe EA can set something up so were you finish point wise at the end of a match counts toward your final rating. That would keep the tker's all by themselves.
