As many of us BF'42 players might be interested in this I thought I'd post it here. It's kinda off topic but a great read none the less.
This .pdf (a big one at over 120 pages) is the combined report from the Joint Chief's of Staff just one month old regarding possible Urban Warfare in Iraq. It cites historic battles like Stalingrad and Berlin as well. Basically they've updated their tactics for fighting in cities and a document like this rarely sees the light of day. Anyway, this will probablly appeal to those of us a bit older and who are into military tactics and history. It's an amazing read... link: http://www.nytimes.com/packages/pdf/...dod_report.pdf

May not be that useful for BF. Not enough urban fighting
I guess if you want house-to-house you stick with CS or DoD.

Whats the deal with shit like this. America just lets anyone know about all their plans.
Also i dont know how helpfull real world fighting will go on a video game past the basic Flank that way or this way.
