Being switch to other team or unable to choose allies

I usually play as "allies." However, there have been many times when I've been playing as allies, been killed, only to be given the "Select Spawn Point" screen as "axis" and being unable to reselect "allies." I'm not sure but this has often happend when I've been "behind enemy lines" even in an aircraft.

Sometimes, even when just starting the game, I have been unable to select "allies." This occurs even when the allies have fewer players than the axis.

Any idea how this happens?

Any idea on how to get around this?

AS for switching sides, that is just auto team balance. AS for not choosin allies in beginning, dont worry, axis are good too. Its best just to go with whatever side the server puts u in

1st few times it happened to me I was confused to, but like he said, its just the auto balance

Anytime I'm joining a game, I always sit hunched over the keyboard, power dragging my cigarette, listening for the first radio commands. I always want to know what side I'm gonna be on before the spawn screen comes up, and when I find out I almost always have some cheesy reaction, whether it be driving my fist through the air and shouting "YeeeHawww!" or whining and hitting my hand on my desk.

I never switch sides in the game, no matter how bad I want to. If I'm put on one side, I stay there the whole time I'm in that game. That is unless someone starts whining about uneven teams, then I might switch.

I think the team switching thing is not that big of a deal. I just wished that it would tell you when you switch. There have beena few times I have spawned on another team and went crazy poppin caps only to find that I was now of a different nationality. Then I have to go an' apologize to the guys I shot.

What I really dont like though, is when people switch sides because their side lost a match. That is so lame.

I've had that to happen to me before too, must be just another bug or something. If the auto balance is on, then it should put you on the side with the lesser players. Don't know why it happens even when I'm stuck on a side which has more players than the other, oh well.

That is what I'm talking about. IBeing switched in the middle of a game FROM the side with FEWER players to the side with MORE and being unable to return.

Yeah - its probably a bug. Has anyone noticed if it is more likely to occur when you're killed in behind behind enemy lines?

You dont get auto swapped to a team with less, id say it was just a freak occurance where you were auto switched, and by the time you realised it people had disconected on your team or something.
