Yep I have nearly same setup.. same cards anyways.. I needed Nvidia latest drivers, and Soundblaster latest drivers. Ignore the driver updates from Windows after getting these from the manufacturers.

No, your computer is too new. You must downgrade to a P-II 233mhz with 32mb RAM and a 4mb video card. Oh, and you must use Windows 95. Make sure to have your 850mb hard drive nearly full, NEVER defrag, and NEVER download drivers from the internet.

To be absolutely sure if the game will work on your computer, you should really download one of the demos. I recommend the multiplayer demo, as it can be VERY fun. Well, it got ME into this game, anyways...

Why do people with top tier compuers always ask questions like this? This one may be serious and Ill give it the benifit of the doubt and assume it is, but all too often someone will post their specs just to show off their specs. rule of thumb, if your computer has better specs than the minimum requirements, you can run it (i'm sure there is the occasional messed up exception)

dude try the demo, thats what they make demos for.

Kinda sick of people who ask if game will run on their comps without trying the demo

no offence

I've been reading a lot about this game since I bought it a couple of weeks ago and I have noticed one thing that stands out among all of the "problem" posts.. The Soundblaster Live sound card seems to cause problems.

It seems to me that just about every post I have read with a video problem a Sounblaster Live card is in the specs.

I have two PC's, one with a PCI 512 and one with a Live. The one with the Live card is terrible. It is very choppy and unstable. The one with the PCI card is perfect.. No problems at all and I have the video settings WFO(Wide F---- Open).

I would guess that you could run the game, but the Live card most likely will cause you problems at this point.(until EA hears us and does something about it).
