ok i figured out how to take it off. the thing is there is a good thing and bad thing about it. the good thing is that i discovered that with fog off you dont jerk on moving ships. and it increases frames a tiny bit. but the graphics on the terrain are all fucked up! whats is a good setting ? the default is 100. or i shouldnt mess with it?

I messed with it too. I honestly at first thought it was cool being able to see miles but I got more chop n my game and I really did not like the way the terrain looked either. I was playing Wake with it at 300 and LOL you can see forever but again it looked awful. I started to fly around and said, bleh! I gotta fix this. My frames dropped about 5-10 depending on the map. I am not willing to sacrifice my FPs for the little extra it does.
