OK. first of all it has NOTHING to do with patches. Some servers mod in turbo boost for the jeeps halftracks etc.. That is why they go flying up in the air. If you go to area of destruction server, they have turbo....NO PATCHES!!!!!!!!

It's called stunting. You put expacks under an APC, stand on top of it and blow them up. You fly into the air. You could do that with all sorts of vehicles in different ways. What did you think the explosions under the vehicles were?

What point? Stunting, for the most part, was taken out in one of the patches. You have no point. You try to claim that it's a server side thing, and some severs have boosters on vehicles but that's not what I'm talking about. If you're trying to make a point then I'd like to hear it.

If you want to say I'm wrong, that's fine, just have some evidence to back it up.
Having played Battlefield 1942 for going on five years, I have the experience and knowledge to say that these videos were made with the stunting technique. That technique was taken out round about the 1.3 patch when DICE reduced the force that explosions had. Thereby, not sending them flying into the air.

mrhahn There was a stunt mod for 1942, which basically replicated all of the C4 jumping you could do in earlier versions. Had a few custom maps too, designed just for stunting.
would anyone know the name of that mod by any chance |
