Battlefield 1942 New computer, new game, Windows Vista OS, need help
Brand new computer equipped with Windows Vista. Downloaded a patch but are unsure if it's the right one since it's still not working. When entering the game, it skips the intro and freezes up or sometimes it goes to the box for profile name but there is no box to enter a name. We've tried lots of suggestions but need expert advice. Help please.

Download the 1.6 patch, and then the 1.61 patch

Go to gamershell.com and they have the patches you need, dowmload the one nava lord said. Then you should be good.
