Setting up my own practice server

I've been playing BF1942 for a few years off and on, but have never set up my own server. Now, I'm wanting to practice on my own...no bots, no live players, just me. It seems that the best way to do this would be to go to "Multiplayer - Create Game" and specify the maps and other game parameters I want and then just play! But it says that the game won't start until at least 1 more player joins the game.

How can I start my own local game where it's just me in the map? Sorry if this seems like such a newbie question, but I am when it comes to server side setups...

Why do you need the game to be started? All that means is that you won't earn any points. You can still do everything else that you would normally be able to do.

So, you're saying when it tells me it's waiting on 1 player to join to start the game I can just proceed with picking a role and spawn point and rock and roll?

If you go to our clan website you can read about booking our server for awhile, here is the link- 29th Waffen SS - Want to book our server?

Also. post that you want to book it, and check back a little later for brians ok or not.
