Default Mac Controller

Currently I am playing BF42 with my mouse. I have tried using an extreme 3D pro joystick, and a Macally Shockll controller on my I-Mac. my man is able to go forward, backwards, left, & right. I am unable to aim and turn around. What am I doing wrong setting the controller up for BF42

Thanks in advance for any positive suggestions

There are three problems:

1. You are using a Mac

2. You are trying to play games on a Mac

3. Your trying to play a FPS with a Joystick.

The real problem is number 3, BF simply wont allow you to configure the mouse to a Joystick. Stick to mouse and keyboard. Its much better.

OK, first of all, there is NOTHING wrong with a mac, it just shows that grim reaper doesn't know anything about computers. And if you ban me for this post. I willl report yours. Anyway alot of people think ooooh dell is the best. But really is isn't that good. I had a dell flatscreen, and the screen was wrecked in a week!. So macs are fine, just look at the ratings.

I never thought I'd say this, but our resident retard is right. Grim doesn't know anything about macs because he's never used them.

I've decided to review my view on macs after some pensive thought.

They are:

Pretty
Capable at day to day tasks that most people use computers for
Very good at imaging work

They are not:

Good at games
Good value

So, I no longer hate them. They're pretty and they work. They just arent much cop for games and they're quite expensive compared to a similar specified PC. I really don't see how anyone can disagree with that or find it offensive.

Hey Grim, having a mac I agree with your findings.

Then I installed windows XP. Being able to dualboot is cool, but its hard to justify looking at that mass of uglyness we refer to as XP.

even with windows blinds.

but now i can play BF2 / PRmod again so i am teh happeh

They are indeed pretty. I like the clean look of Apples. Also, there aren't millions upon millions of files that you have to go through endless sub folders to find. Everything is right there in the finder. Easy to install and uninstall.
