Default Getting in vehicles when it's full of bots...

I need to know how to get in a vehicle when it's full of bots. I started playing BF2 first and now just recently switched to BF1942 and to tell you the truth I love it more. Anyways, whenever I run up to a vehicle and push E to get in when the vehicle is full of bots it won't let me. In BF2 a bot would jump out or commit suicide to let me in the vehicle. Can you not get in when a vehicle is full of bots?

I also heard you could hijack the other teams vehicles while the other team has populated it. How do you do this? Is it just some silly rumor I heard or is it true?

Please help!!

Oh, also when a bot is driving and I'm a gunner or just along for the ride. I can't seem to take control of the vehicle. Why is that? Why can't I switch around by pressing the number buttons on the keyboard as it says in controls? Am I wrong to assume that you can do this in BF1942?

In BF2, you have to use your F keys to switch positions in a vehical such as F1 F2 F3 F4 and so on. Are you doing this?

The Battlefield 1942 bots are a lot dumber than the BF2 ones. They are very stubborn and do not like giving up their seats on the bus to old ladies. So you must be persistent. Keep pressing "E" to get in, eventually one will drop out. Do the same to switch to a position that a bot is using. If the bot isn't using that position then just press the number keys to switch.

In 1942 you have to push 1,2,3,4,5,6 to move around in a vehicle. And the F keys such as F1, F2, F3 are for communications like Q is in BF2. Trust me I so tried this being a BF2 player as well...

Are there any mods that fix this E issue with bots in singleplayer? Is Vietnam like this as well? I just think it's silly that EA would leave that part out...dumb actually not silly...

EA WTF??!!!

I think Desert Combat solved it so you could take over like you can in BF2

I normally just shoot the driver. Or if the driver is covered, then I disable the vehicle. I have my ways.
