I just found out about this game about a week ago and I've been playing the demo every chance I get, the best way I can describe it so far is Operation Flashpoint with better controls and gameplay. This is a game that is far more entertaining with teamwork but, as is par for the course in these types of games, you don't often find that on public servers. So, right now I'm thinking about joining a clan after release.
I'm looking for clans of mature players, people who have their shit together but aren't totally fixated on the game and some sense of duty to a fictional army(clan). I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want a clan that is realistic in what it expects of it's members. I'm 22, and entering the 4th year of a 6 year concurrent degree program. I'm in co-op, and I'm hoping to change my history major to honours. I have a part time job as a webmaster, and I'm currently applying to the reserves. As you can see, I'm a pretty busy guy. I'm looking for a clan of serious players with a sense of perspective, I'm not interested in taking crap from some guy halfway around the world because I had a paper / program to write, midterm to study for or weekend training with the reserves. I'm completely new to the clan scene for this game, so hopefully you can fill me in on which clans I should look into. |

Heh, well I did plenty of "living" the last couple years...and my gpa suffered accordingly
I'm looking for clans that are serious and don't overdo it in the drama department...so I guess serious in that gameplay is somewhat organized and uses teamwork, but not expecting members to skip real life. I don't even really care if I get to play in ladder games, just games with a little serious teamwork (ie no tking, vehicle stealing etc). |

go to www.phoenixrage.org and read our tenets. If you like what they say, come by our forums and introduce yourself!! (I, too, did a bit of a GPA dip when in college, and then got somewhat serious and recovered nicely
We are going to have our own permanent public server when the game comes out officially. Now we are practicing on a private one. We have been round for well over a year and thus are pretty stable. |

Well clans don't get much more mature than ours, but unfortunatley were perhaps to far away from you to get a good connection as were based mostly in the Uk and Germany, but hey come see us anyhow, drop by the forum and say hello. www.the-rip.de

I am a member of CoFR (Crusty old Fossil Rockers). We are not a clan, but a gaming community. You have to know members to get in, but we are all about maturity and fair gameplay.
We play various games, and have servers for a number of games. http://www.cofr.net Even if you don't becaome a member (which could take 4 - 8 months) you may like the servers. |

I'm interested in joining a clan and im a mature player who likes to use their class for what they're supposed to do, as a scout I prefer to stay on foot and call artillary until the bombing starts, then I snipe and move snipe again and move, im also good as an engineer and assault, the only things that are difficult are the anti tank and medic since I dont play as them
