Default Your faviourite mod, skin pack, map etc

This is a little random I know, but I was discussing this with a team mate and got into a little heat arguement about the best mod, skin pack and map for BF and BFV.

I figured I'd ask you guys instead as I was loosing and need the back up, lol.

So what is your faviourite mod, skin pack, custom map etc for BF1942 and indeed BFV?

Well my fave Mod for '42 is DC by far(you only have to look at my sig to know i'm being biased :P ). Never really got into any other mod except EOD which was fun.

Map has to be DC Quarry.....great for racing around on

I myself lean towards FH, I really like the details.

I like DCX cos it has the brits in it, not that i'm biased as brit at all, lol.

GC space maps are the best. The only negative thing about GC are the plastic looking tanks..
They don't have great tanks

I should play DC some day soon. Haven't touch that in a while

Galactic Conquest in my opion needs ALOT of work. I do give them credit for what they have but i think it could be 2x better.

DC's fun, but I'd have to go with Forgotten Hope. So much more of a challenge and you don't have campers decimating the field with one "superweapon" (see Apache, etc.). The balance is there and they have tons of maps, vehicles and weapons.

FH or BG42 for me...altho DC is fun once in a while (once in a VERY GREAT WHILE), just to play with modern equipment.

I do love the M1A1....

Definately DC, next up is Eve of Destruction. FH wasn't that terribly good in my opinion. Ran slow on my computer. :S

no no no IS82 monster truck is the shit and it had the best mod music around.

DC was great, i just got pissed waiting for DC Final but DC is key.

never really got into FH/EoD both great mods tho

GC was excellent, a lot of fun to play too bad its over.

Best custom maps came out of DCmaps though, Quarry is great Nordenex was a great coder, gasaraki made some great maps

DC Realism Mod or whatever it was called was fun too, but it tried to implement team support features too much and there are too many n00bs for that

DC Enhanced stole PoE models/skins, so thats lame

DCX is still the best mini-mod for BF42/DC really enjoyed it (new build just released too)

There was actually PoE for BF42 which no one knew about and was suprisingly fun, but when it went to BFV it was limited by a wack game engine. PoE2 will be key

oh and CiS brought a lot of original ideas to BF42 engine but it was just a year too late and got lost in the mix, too bad
