Starting to play again
Howdy folks, I am starting to play BF1942 again and I have run into a problem. I have the 1942 and road to rome expansion. I installed those and got the 1.6 patch but I can't play online. I keep getting a message saying I have the wrong version do I want to update. What exactly am I doing wrong? Is there a mod that everyone is using or am I missing a program somewhere that won't let me connect? Help would be appreciated much!!

Do you have punkbuster enabled?
Also, when I started playing again I had the same issue. Click update, let if refresh all the way, then start to apply the filters. Populated, pure, punkbuster only etc. Good luck keep us posted.

Like dan said, patch 1.61b. Check any BF fansite or the official site for a download.
